Default My Flat Iron won't straighton my hair

I use a baby bliss flat iron but it just does not get my hair straight enough. Is there a specific flat iron I should get? Is there a specific product I should put in to help keep it straight? I have wavy to curly hair, which pulls curls out easily.. So, I would think it would not be that hard since I don't have tight curls. Any thoughts?

Not sure which heat setting you are using but maybe try a higher one if there is one. You can also try brushing out the curls a bit more and flat iron your hair in very small sections maybe one inch pieces.

I purchased a Babyliss flat iron years ago from a salon thinking it was going to be fantastic...well it wasn't. It didn't get my hair very straight and it caused too much heat damage so I returned it the next day. I had more luck with the flat iron I use now it's called the context platinum collection black series, it works well for me and I have tight spiral curls.

what is your straightening process?(from wash to flat iron) what temperature are you using?

It many not necessarily be a product it could be a technique issue.

i have a babyliss nano titanium iron and i can get my hair straight at 340 and less. getting the best results depends mostly on the technique IMO.
