Any fine hairs using Darcy's products?
I have decided I have fine hair, it is definitely easily weighed down and my wave pattern is pretty loose to begin with. I don't seem to have signs of extreme porosity issues so probably medium. I am also allergic to most chemical preservatives and try to avoid fragrance oils. I have found some fragranced products that don't give me a rash but trying new products is always a challenge. I am most interested in natural products. I have ordered some samples from Kathymack and Ingredientstodiefor but am also interested in Darcy's Botanicals products, especially from others with fine hair.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

+1 to the pumpkin seed condish - love it. I also have the cream gel, cocoa bean smoothing cream, and the leave in curl cream. The cream gel is pretty light, but doesn't have much hold either - great for a more natural style to help control frizz. I use the leave in cream like a butter just on my ends. The cocoa cream is very moisturizing, and can weigh my hair down - so I only use very small amounts of this, or mix it with something lighter.

Are you all (youse guys : ) using the PSC as a RO or a LI? I'd assumed it was the former, and was using it as such, but the instructions don't say to rinse it out.

^^I use it as a RO - haven't tried it as a LI, but I find it very moisturizing and would imagine I would only want to leave in a small amount. I may have to try this.

I used Darcy's Madagascsr Vanilla and that stuff had my hair so GREASY, I looked like Mister from the "Color Purple" when he put all that grease in his head trying to go see Shug Avery. She uses TOO MUCH WAX in her products. I now use that product as a foot cream.

My hair weighs down easily and I love their PSC and their Cleansing Conditioner. The PSC moisturizes well, but rinses clean if that makes sense. No film. I didn't like the Sweet Cocoa Bean or Shea Butter Curl Cream...I'm starting to think my hair isn't too keen on shea butter. The Cream-Gel also is a no-go for me, but that's a honey and a fragrance problem.
I haven't tried their products with waxes, like the poster above, but my hair can't handle waxes or heavy oils period.
While every product didn't work for me, I do think all their products are good. They have a little something for everyone. You can write to them and they'll recommend products that may suit your hair type/properties.

Thanks everyone for your responses! I decided to order the cleansing condish, pumpkin seed RO, cream-gel, curling jelly and the peach kernel hydrating milk. The last one I'm hoping to use as a leave-in, we'll see. I ruled out most of the ones described as heavy or that had waxes, I think.
I kind a want to try one of her sprays, has anyone used those? I've been using the SheScentIt vanilla leave-in with some protein added in and really like it but I don't like spraying things on my hair because they get on my skin and (sometimes) cause a rash. I put it in a squirt bottle and have been scrunching/smoothing it in instead, haven't decided if I will reorder........... Okay, that seems like it doesn't make sense but its easier to wash my hands than my shoulders, back, sides of face, etc for the spraying.
Will update when I've tried everything. I can't wait!!
