Advice in the BIG CHOP =O AND BIG CHOP PICS PLEASE!!!

So I would really like to cut my hair But omg Im so scared lol Im thinking a shoulder length cut with lots of short layers to add volume, Im really not comfortable with doing the ULTIMATE BIG CHOP meaning anything less than shoulderlength because Im fearful that my hair wont grow back and I also have a round face so Im not to sure how something like that would suit me... What I am ultimately trying to benefit from this is to see if my hair will grow back more curly, thick, and healthy... any suggestions? And feel free to post your big chop photos... Ill try to post pics

I have a rather round face and it has been quite an adventure because you have to learn to get to know your virgin hair. I used mixed chicks back when my hair started growing,I even bought a wig for the 1st few months. I say take it slow cut a little at a time.

Yes Im thinking the same thing just to let it grow out a bit but I might go ahead and cut it to shoulder length... Maybe at the beginning of summer ... How long did it take for your hair to grow to your curreent length and I see you like dying your hair too!

So I got a pixie cut (similar in length to the pic with the red hair) and it was down to my shoulders by the end of the year if that helps, tenapaige. But everyone's hair grows differently.

Yep I love to play with my hair, I dye it different colors all the time. Especially when I had it short :P. But now i give it a lot more attention after such abuse hehe.. Its taken me about 3 years to grow it to my length now, I shaved it april '10 and then in june '11 it was like that last pic and I went to get an asymmetrical cut but the guy couldn't do it so i lost like 4 inches again, so from '11 to now I have only done self trims . I color my own hair too I have salon/ stylist ptsd lol.

Haha cool ! I honestly thought the shaved head looked pretty good on u too... Im thinking about dying my hair dark brown with a strip of blue not sure yet
