As I am?
I just bought and tried the Coconut cowash. I can't believe how crazy curly my hair is!! I had been using a cheapo conditioner for co-wash from Sally's and thier Paul Mitchell Conditioning Balm. This morning, I used the cheapo stuff, then the As I am and then about a dime size of Conditioning balm as a leave in. I can't believe how good my hair looks!! I don't know if I will get second day hair. I cut my drying time as well. Also, it had been more on my 2 side of things and kind of limp and wacky, but it is definitely a 3a today. Oh my. I am a happy girl!!
I also poured it into an old bottle to make it easier to use. Jars are awkward in the shower!!
Dh wonders if my old routine was weighing things down.
I was wondering if anyone had any luck with any of their other products. Most of the other ones are pricier so I don't really want to try since the reviews were mixed. I use a gel from Sally's w/Ecostyler scrunched in. I heard that the Ecostyler is way better than their gel. And it sure is cheaper.
Any experience?

I love the AIA coconut co-wash - its one of my regular co-washes, and I like that it leaves my hair clean without stripping it. I also like their LI (lightweight but still very moisturizing). They make a curling jelly too, which I like, but I've had to stop using it now that the dews here are so low (single digits) as it does contain glycerin. But when I was using it in the summer/fall it was giving me very soft, shiny and defined curls. I'd like to try the hydration elation conditioner too, but it's been out of stock at my Sally's.

I'm torn too
You're not alone. I LOVE this co-wash and even if I try other things I will always repurchase it. I'm reluctant to try the gel, however, because people likened it to kinky curly's curling custard which I do love but supposedly it leaves a flaky residue?

I used the AIA hydration elation for a couple of DTs, and I have mixed feelings. The smell is wonderful, but it didn't really do anything for my curls and it almost feels like there's some kind of residue on my hair, enough so that I'm planning to clarify today. I'll stick to my AOHR from now on: it's cheaper and it works better.
Oh, and the DT also dropped me from 3a to 2b, but at these dew points that can happen if I sneeze too hard, so I'm not sure I should blame it on the product.
I might have to try the coconut co-wash, though!

I LOVE the coconut cowash. It cleans my hair but leaves it feeling soft and moisturized. I also use their curl clarity and curling jelly. The curl clarity does clarify well, and you can definitely feel it when you use it. The curling jelly dries with no flaking for me, but I wish it controlled my frizz just a bit more. However, I have always had frizz with any products I've used. The hydration elation didn't really do anything for me when I used it as a deep conditioner, so I'm still looking for a good one. I have 2c, fine and low porosity, which makes my hair so difficult to please because everything weighs it down and nothing gets absorbed and it takes my hair about 4 hours to dry naturally :-/ but overall I will definitely keep using the 3 products i mentioned, and next I want to try the leave-in conditioner.
