Your ends are, but your roots appear much curlier - perhaps 3b or 3c. Has your hair been relaxed?

I can definitely see that! The last time I got my hair relaxed was when I was around 7 or 8. I suppose that's just how my hair curls LOL. It's weird because when my hair gets about 1/3 down my face, the roots are actually straight whereas at the top of my face, my roots grow curly

I'd definitely say 3a curls because you have big curls but you have very thick hair. Another thing to look at is the porosity of your hair the density and the width. Learning everything about your hair will narrow what products best work with it! Good luck with everything! It's definitely an adventure with finding the perfect products to make our curly hair America's most wanted!! (*^_^*)
