With the sudden appearance of pink ribbons and pink merchandise, you’ve probably figured out that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. For some, this is a painful time when we remember those we have lost, those who are still fighting and those who have beat this deadly disease. Yet out of all this sadness come rays of hope from people who go out of their way to do what they can to help better the lives of those suffering with this disease.
Macadamia Natural Oil Gives to the Cure
One of the companies who have recently joined the cause is Macadamia Natural Oil. This October, the company has given its clients an opportunity to purchase a breast cancer awareness Limited Edition Pink No Tangle Pre- Stlyer Brush. Although this brush is very reminiscent of the Tangle Teezer, this one comes with a handle. The brush also comes with a 1 oz healing oil treatment and 0.5 oz deep repair mask for a total package value of $19. The package was especially created for women who suffer with cancer or who are recent survivors who may have very weak damaged hair. The brush is supposedly more gentle on the hair, which is great for keeping damage to a minimum and reducing the tug and pull on the hair. The healing oil and masque are also meant to be used to help repair any damage.
If you have never suffered with the disease or don’t know anyone who has, you can still choose to purchase the package since Macadamia Natural Oil has promised to donate 10% of its net profits to Cosmetic Executive Women’s Cancer and Careers nonprofit organization. The organization is one which helps cancer survivors navigate the job market by offering services such as educational seminars and workshops, as well as career coaching.
I commend all of the companies and individuals out there who are doing what they can to help find treatments and cures for this disease that claims too many of us. This month, let’s make sure we show our support in whatever way we can. Lastly, be aware ladies. Do your research and find out from your doctor how to do a breast check for early detection to help eradicate this disease once and for all.
