A gradual process is best
Dear Ouidad: I have lightened my curly hair for years with permanent blond hair color. However, I want to gradually return to my natural brown with blond highlights. Advice, please?
A:Start by weaving in low lights of your natural brown color. Slowly increase the amount of lowlights over several appointments.

the the opposite I had been dying my very very naturally light blonde hair to a 1a or 1ab for about 4 years..I’m lost on how to lighten my hair without stripping it and murdering it. I really rather not cut my shortened to shoulder length hair any shorter to be rid of the black and back to natural (or another color..for some reason I’m leaning to an ‘amy pond’ red lately)
