Dear Ouidad: My name is Jennifer, and I am a huge fan of Ouidad. My question is, should I be air drying or is it ok to dry with a diffuser? The problem is I air dry most of the time, but depending on the weather, that doesn’t always work for me. Please help me to figure out a routine for my curls!
A: You can definitely use a diffuser, but try to use medium heat so you do not dry out your hair. Also, be sure to focus on the roots and gently lay your curls in the diffuser without too much scrunching.

I use a diffuser because it is quicker and more convenient than air drying when you are on the go. I also find that my curls are more pronounced this way. The trick is not to handle them too much. (I also make sure I have regular trims to counteract any dry ends.)
